Investment Innovation, Equity-Linked Note Plus or ELN Plus is a Structured Notes designed for investors who wish to acquire fundamentally strong stocks in the SET50 index at the current market price but believe that the stock price may not adjust rapidly within a week. Therefore, they may choose not to take ownership of the stocks immediately and opt to wait for a week.

The key feature is that during the one-week waiting period (the contract term), ELN Plus generates interest at a rate of approximately 20%-40% per year, depending on market conditions and the underlying stock. On the maturity date, investors will get this cash interest. This method is appropriate for individuals who want to acquire equities at a specific market price but do not intend to sell them in a day-trading strategy. They earn interest during the waiting period. It is vital to remember that the principle redemption is determined by the closing price of the underlying stock on the valuation date and is classified into two possibilities.

Scenario 1 : Cash Redemption

If the closing price of the underlying stock on the Valuation Date is greater than or equal to the Strike Price, the investor will receive a cash redemption of the principal amount plus cash interest in full.

Scenario 2 : Stock Redemption

If the closing price of the underlying stock on the Valuation Date is less than the Strike Price, the investor will still receive cash interest. The principle amount, however, will be redeemed in the form of the underlying stock. The number of shares received is the same as if the principal amount was used to buy the underlying stock at the Strike Price, which is equal to the market price on the day the ELN Plus was purchased.
